This course is designed to provide essential knowledge and skills to help you ensure the safety and well-being of the children you work with. As a child carer, it's crucial to understand how to recognize and respond to any signs of abuse, neglect or harm, and to follow appropriate procedures to protect the children in your care.
In this webinar, you'll learn about the legal and regulatory requirements around safeguarding children, the different types of abuse and neglect, and how to spot the signs that a child may be at risk. We'll also cover how to report concerns and work with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Our experienced trainer will guide you through the topics, and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences with other attendees. By the end of this webinar, you'll have the knowledge and skills to confidently safeguard the children in your care and promote their well-being.
Aim: To raise awareness of an adult's role when working with children and young people and to ensure they understand how to protect the safety of young people as well as to be aware of sensitive situations in which they may find themselves.
