Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Early Years Level 2
This course is designed to provide an overview of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion in the early years setting, and to explore strategies for promoting an inclusive environment that supports the learning and development of all children.
In this webinar, we will discuss the legal framework that underpins equality and diversity, and explore the role of early years practitioners in promoting an inclusive environment. We will look at the impact of unconscious bias on children's development, and explore strategies for identifying and challenging discrimination.
We will also examine the benefits of an inclusive environment for all children, and consider how to adapt practice to meet the needs of children with different abilities and backgrounds. This webinar will provide an opportunity for practitioners to reflect on their practice and consider practical strategies for promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the early years setting.
