Risk Assessment for Child Carers Level 2
As a child carer, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care. Risk assessment is an essential part of this process, as it helps you identify potential hazards and take steps to minimize or eliminate them.
Throughout this course, you will learn the fundamentals of risk assessment, including how to identify potential hazards, assess the level of risk, and implement effective risk control measures. You will also learn how to develop risk management plans, communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers, and maintain accurate records.
Aim: To enable delegates to carry out health and safety risk assessments to provide a safe environment for children and adults.
Certification: Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.
