Paediatric First Aid Level 3
This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to provide emergency care for infants and children in a range of situations. Throughout the course, you will learn about a range of common medical emergencies that can occur in infants and children, including choking, seizures, asthma, and severe allergic reactions. You will also learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on infants and children in an emergency.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through the practical skills required to assess and manage a range of injuries and illnesses, including fractures, burns, head injuries, and more. You will also learn how to effectively communicate with emergency services and parents, and how to manage an emergency until professional help arrives.
Aim: To introduce first aid to learners who have children and babies in their care and to enable them to recognise and respond to a paediatric emergency.
Certification: Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.
