Legionella Level 2
The Legionella Level 2 course is designed to provide delegates with an overview and awareness of the issues surrounding Legionella control. Legionella is a bacteria that can cause Legionnaires' disease, a potentially fatal form of pneumonia. The course aims to provide delegates with knowledge of current legislation and good practice procedures for preventing and controlling Legionella in the workplace.
The course covers a range of topics, including the health risks associated with Legionella, the legal obligations of employers and duty holders, and the principles of risk assessment and control measures. Delegates will also learn about the requirements for monitoring, record-keeping, and the importance of regular maintenance and testing.
The course is designed to be delivered over a period of three hours, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions throughout.
