The Care Certificate
Every individual new to health and social care, as well as those changing jobs within it, is required to undertake an induction programme that meets the Care Certificate standards and allows them to provide evidence of completed objectives. Our Care Certificate e-learning course provides underpinning theory-based knowledge for the below 15 standards. Courses also include a resources section with access to a downloadable workbook for all 15 standards, holistic assessment sheets and workplace competency record sheets. This course is mapped to the Skills for Care Care Certificate Standards 1-15, the Care Quality Commission, the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF), and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) QS123. Mental Health Courses
This training provides learners with a basic awareness and understanding of anxiety disorders and phobias, how they can be managed and treated, and how to offer support to someone dealing with anxiety or a phobia.
Aim: To provide basic knowledge of self-harm, its causes, how to recognise signs of self-harm and how to support individuals who self-harm.
Aim: To provide learners with an understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), its causes and impacts and how to support people.
This classroom training course is delivered in person by one of our trainers. At the end of the 3-hour course, learners will have an understanding of bipolar disorder, its symptoms and characteristics and be able to support individuals living with the disorder.
Aim: To ensure healthcare support workers and adult social care workers have the knowledge and confidence to provide support for people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Aim: To raise awareness of the importance of promoting mental health in the workplace, and empower people to offer support.
This course raises awareness of the effects of stress and introduces techniques that can be used to manage stress.
Knowing how to handle stress effectively and recognising it in yourself and the people around you are useful skills to have.
