Safeguarding Adults Level 1
A webinar on Safeguarding Adults Level 1 is designed to help healthcare support workers and adult social care workers develop an awareness of safeguarding issues and how to effectively safeguard adults at risk of harm. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to identify potential safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action to prevent harm.
The webinar will cover various topics, such as the definition of safeguarding, the types of abuse and neglect, and the signs and symptoms of abuse. Participants will learn about the importance of reporting safeguarding concerns and the procedures for doing so, as well as the roles and responsibilities of various agencies in safeguarding adults.
The webinar will also cover the importance of record-keeping in safeguarding, and the possible consequences of not reporting safeguarding concerns or following the correct procedures. Participants will learn about the potential barriers to effective safeguarding and how to overcome these.
Upon completion of the webinar, successful candidates will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years, which will demonstrate their understanding of safeguarding adults and their commitment to promoting the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. The duration of the webinar is 1.5 hours, which makes it an efficient and effective way for healthcare support workers and adult social care workers to develop their knowledge and skills in safeguarding adults.
