Safeguarding Adults
Safeguarding adults means keeping vulnerable adults safe from abuse and neglect. Adults requiring care and support are vulnerable as they rely on other people to meet their needs. When caring for an individual, safeguarding is an essential skill to avoid deterioration in service users' wellbeing. Therefore, it is very important that those working in health and social care understand signs of abuse, how to manage and report abuse, and their responsibilities as an employee.
Through our accredited training, learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out their role effectively. Our courses are carefully mapped to relevant standards including the Care Certificate, the National Occupational Standards for Health and Social Care, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). First Response Training is a Skills for Care endorsed training provider.
