Person Centred Care and Support Level 2
The Person-Centred Care and Support Level 2 course is designed to raise awareness among healthcare support workers and adult social care workers about person-centred planning, thinking, and care. The primary aim of this course is to enable participants to understand the principles and importance of person-centred approaches and their role in implementing them.
The 3-hour course emphasizes the significance of placing the individual at the forefront of care and support, tailoring services to their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations. Participants will gain an understanding of person-centred planning, thinking, and care practices, and how these approaches contribute to improved outcomes and a better quality of life for the individuals they support.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, candidates will be issued a certificate valid for three years. This certification demonstrates their understanding of person-centred care and their ability to implement person-centred approaches in healthcare and social care settings.
