Person Centred Care and Support Level 1
A webinar on Person-Centred Care and Support Level 1 is designed to help healthcare support workers and adult social care workers develop an awareness of the concept of person-centred care and support. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to provide high-quality care that is centred on the individual, their needs, preferences, and values.
The webinar will cover various topics, such as the definition of person-centred care, the benefits of person-centred care, and the principles and values that underpin it. Participants will learn about the importance of communication and building relationships with individuals, as well as the key skills required to provide person-centred care, such as active listening, empathy, and respect.
The webinar will also cover the importance of teamwork and collaboration in providing person-centred care and support, as well as the potential barriers to person-centred care and how to overcome these.
Upon completion of the 1.5-hour webinar, successful candidates will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years, which will demonstrate their understanding of person-centred care and their commitment to providing high-quality care that is centred on the individual.
