Infection Control and Prevention
Infection control and prevention is essential in health and social care. Staff have a duty to protect service users and themselves from the spread of disease. This has become an especially prevalent issue in recent years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Those who work in health and social care must understand legislation and policies and know how to reduce the risk of infection.
Through our accredited training, learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out their role effectively. Our courses are carefully mapped to relevant standards including the Care Certificate, the National Occupational Standards for Health and Social Care, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
