Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awareness Level 2
The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Awareness Level 2 course is designed to provide healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with an introduction to the concepts of equality, diversity, and inclusion. The primary aim of this course is to promote these values within the healthcare and social care sectors, ultimately reducing discrimination and ensuring a more inclusive and respectful environment for all.
The course emphasizes the importance of treating individuals with dignity, respect, and fairness, regardless of their background, characteristics, or circumstances. It helps participants understand the value of diversity and the benefits it brings to both individuals and organizations. By raising awareness and understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion, the course aims to foster a more inclusive and harmonious working environment.
The course is designed to be completed within 3 hours. During this time, participants will engage in various activities, discussions, and presentations that explore the key principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
At the end of the course, participants who complete the assessments and demonstrate their understanding of the topics covered will receive a certificate. This certification is valid for three years and serves as evidence of their knowledge and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion principles within the healthcare and social care sectors.
