Dementia Awareness Level 2
The Dementia Awareness Level 2 course is designed to provide healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with an understanding of dementia and how to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia. The course covers topics such as the causes of dementia, common types of dementia, symptoms, and communication skills for interacting with people with dementia. The aim of the course is to increase knowledge and awareness of dementia and to improve the level of care provided to those living with the condition. The course has a duration of 3 hours and successful candidates will be issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years. The course costs £365 for up to 12 learners. Prices may vary based on your requirements.

Mental Health Courses
This training provides learners with a basic awareness and understanding of anxiety disorders and phobias, how they can be managed and treated, and how to offer support to someone dealing with anxiety or a phobia.
Aim: To provide basic knowledge of self-harm, its causes, how to recognise signs of self-harm and how to support individuals who self-harm.
Aim: To provide learners with an understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), its causes and impacts and how to support people.
This classroom training course is delivered in person by one of our trainers. At the end of the 3-hour course, learners will have an understanding of bipolar disorder, its symptoms and characteristics and be able to support individuals living with the disorder.
Aim: To ensure healthcare support workers and adult social care workers have the knowledge and confidence to provide support for people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Aim: To raise awareness of the importance of promoting mental health in the workplace, and empower people to offer support.
This course raises awareness of the effects of stress and introduces techniques that can be used to manage stress.
Knowing how to handle stress effectively and recognising it in yourself and the people around you are useful skills to have.
