Asbestos Awareness Level 2

The Asbestos Awareness Level 2 course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to recognize and handle the hazards related to asbestos. The training covers topics such as the risks associated with asbestos exposure, how to identify asbestos-containing materials, and how to safely manage and dispose of asbestos.

The course is delivered in person by one of the trainers from the training provider, who will travel to the location of the training. The duration of the course is 3 hours, and it is mapped to National Occupational Standards PPLCC02 and COSVR756, as well as the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) NG12.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate valid for 3 years upon completing the course. This certificate demonstrates that the delegate has the necessary knowledge and skills to safely handle and manage asbestos-related hazards in the workplace. The certificate can also be used as proof of training during health and safety inspections.
