Bipolar Disorder Awareness Level 2
The Bipolar Disorder Awareness Level 2 webinar is a three-hour classroom training course that provides an understanding of bipolar disorder, its symptoms, and its characteristics and equips learners with the skills to support individuals living with the disorder. The primary goal of the webinar is to raise awareness of bipolar disorder, reduce stigma, and empower individuals to offer support to those affected by the disorder.
During the webinar, learners will receive comprehensive training on bipolar disorder, including its causes, symptoms, and treatment options available. The webinar will also cover how to recognize signs of bipolar disorder and offer support to those who have the disorder, including communication skills, empathy, and referral options. The course is mapped to National Occupational Standards SFHCHHM1 and SFHCHHM2 and NICE QS95.
The Bipolar Disorder Awareness Level 2 webinar is suitable for healthcare professionals, support workers, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning more about bipolar disorder and how to support individuals affected by the disorder. Upon completion of the webinar, successful learners will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. This certificate demonstrates their understanding of bipolar disorder and their ability to support individuals who have bipolar disorder in their daily lives.

Understanding Mental Health
Aim: To raise mental health literacy in all sectors of the community, in order to dispel the stigma and discrimination that exists through lack of understanding, and empower people to offer support.

Aim: To introduce learners to the concept of mindfulness and different mindfulness practices for relaxation and self-care.

Aim: To help healthcare support workers and adult social care workers gain an understanding of mental illness, the problems this can cause in daily life, and how they can support people.

This training provides learners with a basic awareness and understanding of anxiety disorders and phobias, how they can be managed and treated, and how to offer support to someone dealing with anxiety or a phobia.
Self-Harm Awareness
Aim: To provide basic knowledge of self-harm, its causes, how to recognise signs of self-harm and how to support individuals who self-harm.
OCD Awareness
Aim: To provide learners with an understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), its causes and impacts and how to support people.
Bipolar Disorder Awareness
This classroom training course is delivered in person by one of our trainers. At the end of the 3-hour course, learners will have an understanding of bipolar disorder, its symptoms and characteristics and be able to support individuals living with the disorder.
Suicide Awareness
Aim: To raise awareness and understanding of suicide, examine personal and societal attitudes towards suicide and understand how we may be able to offer help
ADHD Awareness
This 3-hour classroom training ensures learners have knowledge and awareness of ADHD in order to gain confidence and understanding in supporting those with ADHD.

Aim: To ensure healthcare support workers and adult social care workers have the knowledge and confidence to provide support for people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
