Level 2 Award in Stroke Awareness

The Stroke Awareness Level 2 course aims to raise awareness among participants about the signs, impact, and appropriate responses to strokes. The course is designed to provide essential knowledge and skills to healthcare support workers and adult social care workers, enabling them to recognize the signs of a stroke and respond effectively to individuals experiencing a stroke.

The course has a duration of 3 hours, allowing participants to gain a foundational understanding of stroke awareness within a focused timeframe. The training is typically conducted in person, providing opportunities for interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to deepen understanding and promote skill development.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. This certification serves as evidence of their competence in stroke awareness and their ability to respond effectively to individuals experiencing a stroke.
