Level 2 Award in Promoting Dignity in Care
The Promoting Dignity in Care Level 2 course is designed to raise awareness among healthcare support workers and adult social care workers about the importance of dignity in care and equip them with the knowledge and skills to promote and maintain dignity in their practice. The course aims to enhance participants' understanding of the principles of dignity and empower them to deliver person-centred care that respects and preserves the dignity of individuals receiving care.
The course has a duration of 3 hours, allowing participants to gain a foundational understanding of promoting dignity within a focused timeframe. The training is typically conducted in person, providing opportunities for interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to deepen understanding and promote the application of dignity-promoting strategies.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. This certification serves as evidence of their competence in promoting and maintaining dignity in care, as well as their commitment to delivering person-centred and respectful care practices.
