Level 1 Award in Medication and Healthcare Tasks

A webinar on Medication and Healthcare Tasks Awareness Level 1 is designed to provide healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with basic knowledge of medications, their effects and safety issues, and how to assist with healthcare tasks. The aim of the webinar is to ensure that participants can provide safe and effective support to individuals who require medication or assistance with healthcare tasks.

Participants will learn about the importance of medication safety, including how to store, administer, and dispose of medication safely. They will also learn about common medication errors and how to prevent them.

Upon completion of the 1.5-hour webinar, successful candidates will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years, which will demonstrate their understanding of medication safety and their commitment to providing high-quality care that is centred on the individual's well-being.
