Level 2 Award in Effective Communication

The Effective Communication Level 2 course is designed to empower healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to communicate effectively in their roles. The primary aim of this course is to enhance communication abilities and promote understanding of individual communication needs, ultimately improving outcomes for the individuals they support.

The course emphasizes the importance of clear, respectful, and empathetic communication in healthcare and social care settings. Participants will develop practical communication techniques, strategies for overcoming communication barriers, and an understanding of diverse communication needs.

The course has a duration of 3 hours. Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, candidates will be issued a certificate valid for three years. This certification demonstrates their competency in effective communication skills and their commitment to understanding and meeting the communication needs of the individuals they support.
