Anxiety and Phobias Awareness Level 2
Anxiety and Phobias Awareness Level 2 is a 3-hour training course that aims to provide learners with a basic understanding of anxiety disorders and phobias. The course covers the causes, symptoms, and treatments of anxiety disorders and phobias, and teaches learners how to offer support to someone dealing with anxiety or a phobia. The training is mapped to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) QS53 and successful candidates will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. The course costs £365 for up to 12 learners. Prices may vary according to your requirements.

- Identify the common signs and symptoms of anxiety
- Know some of the common types of anxiety disorders
- Knowledge of phobias and common types of phobia
- Understand what panic attacks are
- Understand how anxiety disorders can be managed and treated
- Appreciate the importance of self-care, and list some self-care techniques
- Understand how to support others dealing with anxiety
Mental Health Courses
This training provides learners with a basic awareness and understanding of anxiety disorders and phobias, how they can be managed and treated, and how to offer support to someone dealing with anxiety or a phobia.
Aim: To provide basic knowledge of self-harm, its causes, how to recognise signs of self-harm and how to support individuals who self-harm.
Aim: To provide learners with an understanding of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), its causes and impacts and how to support people.
This classroom training course is delivered in person by one of our trainers. At the end of the 3-hour course, learners will have an understanding of bipolar disorder, its symptoms and characteristics and be able to support individuals living with the disorder.
Aim: To ensure healthcare support workers and adult social care workers have the knowledge and confidence to provide support for people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Aim: To raise awareness of the importance of promoting mental health in the workplace, and empower people to offer support.
This course raises awareness of the effects of stress and introduces techniques that can be used to manage stress.
Knowing how to handle stress effectively and recognising it in yourself and the people around you are useful skills to have.
