Learning Objectives

  • Understand health and safety law and welfare regulations
  • Understand workplace health and safety policy
  • Understand how to manage health and safety in the workplace
  • Understand key health and safety issues such as first aid, RIDDOR, manual handling, fire safety, COSHH, PPE, and display screen equipment
  • Understand the principles of risk assessment and safety systems
