Defying the Economic Downturn a Worce...
Pershore's First Response Training managed to increase its turnover by over 10% last year and expects similar growth this year as its try to keep up to speed with legislation.
Managing Director Darren Eden said "it's becoming apparent that our services have become more popular as businesses look to ensure that their staff are properly trained in all areas of health and safety in order to prevent hefty payouts during the economic downturn."
In its 10 year, First Response has a number of on-going contracts with high-profile organisations such as Greater Manchester Police, The Houses of Parliament and most recently the Met Office.
With over 23 full-time training staff delivering training throughout the UK, First Response is adding a range of e-learning titles to its portfolio, emphasising that innovation remains as the core principle of the business.
Darren added: "there are quite a few gloomy stories around at the moment. Encouragingly we have seen a rise in the amount of work over recent months as companies are realising how important it is that their staff are properly trained"
