First Response Training and Consultancy Services Ltd, one of the UK’s leading providers of health and safety training, has announced that they have been re-accredited Investor in People status.
The company, which prides itself on development and innovative methods of improving standards, has obtained a Bronze award and is currently working towards achieving Silver.
The new Bronze, Silver and Gold awards have been introduced for businesses who are working ‘Beyond the Standard’ and represent additional achievements. Less than 2% of UK Investor in People accredited businesses have achieved an award.
First Response was first recognised as an Investor in People back in 2004 and, since then, the company has enjoyed considerable expansion year on year. They now deliver over 50 different course types relating to health and safety nationwide.
The growth of the company has been so phenomenal, that for each of the last three years the business has doubled in size, both in employees and revenue.
Managing Director Darren Eden said: “This is the second time that we have been re-accredited with Investors in People status and we are really pleased to have retained that distinction, and are very proud of the extra recognition that the Bronze Award represents.
“We have grown so much in such a short space of time and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead which promises even further development.”
