Level 1 Core Awards

Our range of Level 1 Core Awards have been specially developed to help organisations meet the National Minimum Training Standards for healthcare support workers and adult social care workers in England, as developed by Skills for Care and Skills for Health.

The National Minimum Training Standards, published in 2013, represent the minimum any care worker should know and apply to all adult social care workers in England who are employed in residential, home or day care, supported living or as personal assistants as well as healthcare support workers and assistant practitioners. They cover 10 key standards and are designed to provide the foundation for safe and effective practice.

These courses will be refreshed and updated to follow the requirements of the Care Certificate when it is in place.
