This practical course has been designed for those staff who are involved in the hoisting of service users. It has been mapped to Skills for Care Common Induction Standards, with links to NVQ Level 2. The course serves as a refresher for experienced staff or as an introduction for new employees. The hoist provided for this training must have been assessed as per LOLER requirements and carry current validation. We are able to provide a manual hoist if required, for an additional cost (please advise at time of booking).
