We have a limited amount of Government (LSC) funded courses for the delivery of training to organisations based within the Midlands.
The Level 2 Certificate in Dementia Awareness is suitable for candidates who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the condition of dementia, and of how to apply the principles of person-centred dementia care.

To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate learners must complete all 4 units
In order to be eligible for funding we require a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 students on the course, where the students need to be over 16 years old on enrolment, resident in the UK for at least 3 years and currently live in England.
The qualification aims to:
- provide candidates with an understanding of dementia, the functioning of the brain, and the memory process
- encourage candidates to use a person-centred approach in order to understand emotions and behaviours they may find challenging
- promote the application of person-centred principles to everyday care activities
Courses delivered as follows:
- Two or three short group sessions
- Part distance-learning
- Tutor support
- Delivered at your location
