We have a limited amount of Government (LSC) funded courses for the delivery of training to organisations based within the Midlands.
This qualification is designed for those who wish to develop their knowledge of infection control. These may be learners who wish to access this training with a view to progression towards further qualifications, or learners who wish to study this programme in order to complement other programmes. It is also suitable for learners wishing to develop knowledge to prepare them for employment or for learners who are already in employment and who wish to study the programme as part of their own continuous professional development.

To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection learners must complete all 3 units
Courses delivered as follows:
In order to be eligible for funding we require a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 students on the course, where the students need to be over 16 years old on enrolment, resident in the UK for at least 3 years and currently live in England.
This qualification aims to:
- Familiarise learners with infection control legislation and policies
- Develop understanding of the causes of infections
- Develop understanding of the methods of cleaning
- Introduce learners to the hand washing techniques
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection learners must complete all 3 units

- Two or three short group sessions
- Part distance-learning
- Tutor support
- Delivered at your location
