The course content covers and exceeds Skills for Care Common Induction Standards and is linked to NVQ level 2. It is a vital course for anyone involved in the moving or handling of people. The course provides opportunity for skills practice including assisting to stand, chair/bed work and hoisting.
The hoist provided for this training must have been assessed as per LOLER requirements and carry current validation. We are able to provide a manual hoist if required, at an additional cost (please advise at time of booking).
