An informative course designed to familiarise staff with the causes, triggers and treatment of this condition. It is designed so that staff have a raised awareness of the causes of epilepsy. The learning outcomes are suitable for both staff new to epilepsy care and for existing staff as an update.
The course follows the guidelines of the Joint Epilepsy Council. It meets Skills for Care Common Induction Standards and has links to NVQ level 2.
