This 3 hour course is designed to keep those trained in either First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work up to date with the HSE's strong recommendation to have annual update training.
In accordance with the Approved Code of Practice to the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are “strongly recommended” to consider the need for emergency first aid training for appointed persons within their organisation.
- Assessing the situation in an emergency
- Administering first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure)
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
