First Aid Awareness Level 1

The First Aid Awareness Level 1 course is designed to provide healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with basic knowledge and understanding of first aid principles and techniques. The course aims to equip learners with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergencies and provide appropriate first aid to those in need. The course covers topics such as the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, assessing the situation, managing an unresponsive casualty, choking, bleeding, burns and scalds, and common injuries. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. The course duration is 1.5 hours.
