To provide learners with the knowledge required to understand the issues involved in loss and bereavement.
- Be able to define loss, grief and bereavement and identify the different models
- To have personal reflections on loss
- Have an understanding of what can be done to help
- Be able to explain why it is important to consider self-care and avoiding compassion fatigue
Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.
