We would like to take the opportunity on behalf of our fostering agency to thank you and especially your trainer for delivering an excellent, highly professional and concise training course to our foster carers. We did enjoy the day and we would like to have this trainer as our tutor in any future training courses.
Sign up for Webinar Wednesday to gain some key skills and knowledge in essential training courses via our innovative live online learning platform!
Learners can complete essential training via the cost-effective, time-efficient and flexible medium of webinar with a selection of important courses available on the final Wednesday of each month.
What is a webinar?
Webinar, or Live Online training, is an online training method which is live and led by an experienced trainer to offer remote access to learning. Webinars typically last approximately for 1.5 to 2 hours and are available in various high quality, interactive subjects.
The trainer will link up to all delegates, who can join the course using any computer with broadband internet access, and this enables them to view the course presentation as the trainer progresses through it. The trainer is equipped with a headset and microphone and can communicate directly with delegates, who can also pose questions, interact with each other, and ask for specific sections of the course to be repeated, if required.
We are very pleased to introduce our new Webinar Wednesdays!
On the final Wednesday of each month we will be running a selection of key, in-demand training topics that learners can sign up to. We will typically run three separate 2-hour webinars on each Webinar Wednesday, each on a different key topic, and these may be applicable to a range of sectors.
Depending on your needs, learners can be signed up to attend 1, 2 or all 3 of the webinars on offer on Webinar Wednesday – offering you the freedom and flexibility to pick only those topics which are relevant to you.
What’s up first?
Our first Webinar Wednesday is being held on Wednesday 28th February 2018.
This Webinar Wednesday will cover the following key topics:
Assessing the Care Certificate, 10am – 12pm
Understanding Mental Health, 2-4pm
Introduction to the KLOEs, 7-8.30pm
The cost will be £49 per learner, per course.
You can contact us to find out further details about the content covered in these webinars and to sign up for one or more of the sessions.
The level of teaching was outstanding and this really showed in the exam marks. The trainer’s enthusiasm for First Aid really shone through and this in turn motivated the group to learn, practise and ask as many questions as possible. […]. The instructor passed on expertise in such a way that did not alienate anyone even though it was a diverse group of people from all parts of the business. The examiners were wonderful, giving us extra tips and advice once we had passed; this gave everyone confidence in their new skills and will allow us as individuals to handle a first aid situation.
